We are a 3 dr. family orientated, teaching practice looking for an innovative motivated energetic nurse to deliver high quality patient centred care. We would like a nurse passionate about, and experienced in, the delivery of chronic care.

Duties include assisting in management of chronic conditions, triage assessment of acute patients, and patient education through nurse appointments, assisting with minor surgery, performing ECGs, as well as being reactive to patient needs and providing usual Practice nurse services e.g. vaccination and smear taking. We encourage patient responsibility and empowerment in self management of their conditions.
We have a friendly helpful practice team , well supported by the local PHO which provides CNE, CME and real time online IT support .
Full driving licence essential - assessment of patients at home by visiting nurses a future possibility - previous midwifery or Health Visiting qualifications and experience, or other visiting community nurse services experience therefore valuable.
Must have current NZ APC
