We are currently looking for an experienced payroll administrator to cover for a maternity leave period of at least 6 months. On return of the current incumbent there is an opportunity for the successful applicant to be the payroll 2IC and undertake general administration cover across the administration, HR and H&S departments.

Some of the duties in the payroll position includes:

  • Coordinating the entry of timesheets for the whole company into GreenTree
  • Processing wages for New Zealand and Australian employees
  • Processing terminations
  • Produce accurate payroll costing reports
  • Check pay rate changes, contracts and variations to ensure accuracy
  • Calculate deductions for staff

In order to be successful in this position you MUST have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing a payroll up to 250 staff at least within the past 12 months.
  • Strong knowledge of current payroll legislation
  • Minimum of intermediate level in MS office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
  • High accuracy of data entry (alpha numerical and numerical)
  • Strong analytical skills with good record keeping
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in GreenTree system is desirable
  • Previous experience in Australian payroll is an advantage
