Join our small Nursing team dedicated to supporting the Endoscopy service and providing the highest standard of care to our patients.
Nelson Marlborough Health is the main health service provider for New Zealand’s Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough regions, serving nearly 145,000 people across two hospitals, public health and a range of community services.
We have a permanent, part-time position available working 32 hours a fortnight (0.4FTE) in our Endoscopy suite at Nelson Hospital.
We are seeking applicants who have:
- at least two years post registration experience in an acute hospital setting
- previous endoscopy experience, or a desire to pursue this growing specialty
- a commitment to quality service
- registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
- a current Annual Practising Certificate.
Our Endoscopy Suite consists of one treatment room with the recovery area situated in the Day Stay Unit. We are a small, professional team led by a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, focussed on providing a caring and professional environment, delivering quality care and extended nursing practice. We are seeking a highly organised, motivated and adaptable Nurse who has a strong team focus and well developed communication skills.
