About the Organisation
This much loved and well supported charitable organisation is a recognised provider of specialist palliative care to the wider Hawke's Bay community. Their dedicated and passionate team of around 85 staff and 400 volunteers provide valuable care, expertise, knowledge, empowerment, support and services to the community.
About the role
As the Clinical Nurse Coordinator / Team Leader, you will co-ordinate and manage the day to day running of an 8 bed inpatient facility. This will include clinical oversight, management of resources, systems and processes, staffing (Registered Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Inpatient volunteers), quality improvement and innovation. This is not an isolated role, you are well supported and will work closely with the MDT and have links to colleagues and agencies in the community and across the region.
Skills and Experience
It is essential that you have a post graduate qualification in specialist palliative care or extensive clinical expertise in this area. You will really care about and value people and this will show in your patient and family centred approach, and in the way you coach, manage, mentor and support your team. You will be a proven leader who demonstrates a commitment to people, clinical quality, safety and improvement.
