Odyssey supports people to change their lives through the delivery of high quality, comprehensive community and residential services for people experiencing mental health issues and/or an addiction to alcohol, others drugs or gambling.
Odyssey is now seeking a fixed term part-time Programme Coordinator (24 hours per week) to cover maternity leave. This role helps to deliver an exciting Supporting Parents Healthy Children programme within its Youth Services administering and supporting the provision of a programme that is innovative, strengths based, resilience building and time limited to help support children, adolescents and their whanau in the community.
The position is primarily a coordination, outreach and service promotion role where relationship management, experience and organisation skills are critical. Odyssey is seeking a person with a strong interest in this area and knowledge of the needs of children of parents with mental health and addiction problems. Excellent public presentation ability and a high level of skill using technology and managing information is also a requirement.

It is preferable that applicants:
- Have a degree qualification preferably in a relevant social service area
- Hold a full clean NZ drivers licence (essential)
Preference may be given to applicants that also have:
- A minimum of one year’s experience in the AOD or mental health sector
