We are currently looking for an energetic and passionate individual to join our great Pharmacy Services team at our Auckland facility. The main purpose of this position is to ensure the requirements of our customers (hospitals and home care patients) are met in an accurate and timely manner for the full range of aseptically compounded pharmaceutical products which includes parenteral nutrition solutions, cytotoxic treatments and antibiotics.
 

How can you contribute??
We are looking for someone who is excited to work with our Integrated Pharmacy Services team and is as committed to the healthcare outcomes of our customer’s patients as we are. Working as part of a dedicated team your day to day responsibilities may include:

• Picking and preparing raw materials.
• Aseptically compounding (mixing) sterile solutions or syringes.
• Packing of finished units for each order including final inspection of products.
• Labelling and dispatching of prepared products.
• Ensuring documentation is completed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.

What would make me a great candidate?
To be successful in this role you will need to:
• Enjoy work that requires a high attention to detail
• Be comfortable working within a cleanroom environment for part of your working day
• Be able to lift up to 10kgs regularly throughout the day
• Be highly productive
• Demonstrate a good understanding of basic mathematics
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Undertake and pass the pre-employment medical including blood tests
• Be flexible across shifts within the operating hours of 5am to 10pm
