Detail information about job Practice Manager. Terms and conditions vacancy
- Feel real ownership
- Attractive salary plus home
- Flexi-hours, central Auckland
With a busy private surgical practice, this superstar husband and wife medical specialist team are living the dream, with incredibly rewarding careers and a place of work they love. What's missing, is a superbly talented office manager, who can run the practice and take care of it while they are in surgery. A team player who is as emotionally invested in the business as they are and can create that calm, restful professional environment that makes the practice their 'happy place' - and hopefully yours too!
While this is a full-time role, the practice is only open to patients Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, which gives you enormous day-to-day autonomy the bonus of flexible hours when it is closed - although there will be a need to work later on those days if there are appointments after 5pm. Trust and reliability are the foundations of this role. In essence, you will be the third specialist in the practice, converting inquiries into appointments and ensuring it continues to grow and be successful.
This is a varied role that will involve everything from receiving referrals, booking appointments and looking after consulting notes to managing suppliers, keeping the Spark accounts up-to-date and ensuring the practice insurance is where it needs to be. There will also be some patient invoicing and basic ledger balancing, working with the Xero accounting system.
We're looking for an efficient, capable all-rounder, someone who can be the 'face' and 'voice' of the business while executing the business plan. Your personal presentation and people skills will be immaculate and amazing, with the empathy, warmth and friendliness you would hope to find in a surgical setting. An experienced office practitioner, you'll have a strong work ethic combined with the business acumen and confidence to make decisions, solve problems and know when to seek advice. The ability to learn quickly and retain information will also set you apart.
While the role is autonomous and the practice owners will only be there two days a week, you won't be lonely as this is a shared space with other practices. Which means you'll have lovely, engaging company when you need it. You can look forward to full orientation and training, a competitive salary, and a bonus to ensure you share in the practice's success.
If this sounds like it could be your happy place too and you have the special mix of skills these lovely professionals are looking for, please apply today ...
