About the business
We are a residential 6 bedroom whanau home providing crisis respite for mental health consumers in the Waikato. We are an NGO contracted solely to WDHB and have been operating for the past 17 years. We are unique in the service we provide, ensuring culturally sensitive practises, with staff who support consumers in there journey to recovery.
Role: Clinical Manager
We are looking for a clinical manager who is an experienced qualified nurse who can prove an *understanding of Ministry of Health standards and is *compliant to nursing competencies in their personal practise *who can advise and ensure our service is aligned with the appropriate MOH standards *ensure policies and procedures include all necessary clinical practises *can educate and train staff to ensure understanding of policies and procedures that give safe clinical support to clients. *will be self-motivated *able to share expertise on all clinical matters with the management team.
Hours:
The clinical manager role currently allows 8hours a week. These hours are done in collaboration with the management team however only one day a month requires your attendance at a scheduled staff hui and directors meeting. This flexibility offers a person to add to their current work load without too much inconvenience, or allows someone a reduced work load, being done only part time.
This is a part time role with a minimum of 8 hours per week.
