- Flexible hours, 30 hours a week over 5 days
A little bit about the company:
This organisation is a well know manufacturer with sites across the country, they are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to be a part of the close knit team in their Otahuhu offices. This will be a sole charge role in finance team of 4. Due to the banking support duties of the role, it is crucial that you can work 30 hours, 5 days a week, the working hours are flexible to your liking.
A little bit about the role:
You will have the flexibility to choose your own working hours between 8am-6pm, spread out Monday to Friday. You'll need to be calm under pressure and capable of building good relationships, multi-tasking when necessary whilst still maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Processing accounts payable
- Bank reconciliations
- Answering invoice queries from clients
- Monthly ATB reporting
- Maintaining the freight register
- Office management
Who are you and what is your profile:
You will be an accounts payable professional- ideally with a few years under your belt in a manufacturing environment or something similar. You will be a real self-starter and able to work without much supervision. As you will need to liaise with the wider team for accounts payable queries- you will be an excellent communicator and will be able to ask the right questions to get information out of people. Ideally you will have also worked on large accounting systems such as Navision or SAP.
