Our A,T&R service is a close knit nursing, allied health and medical team focused on improving and optimising the health and independence of older people within South Canterbury.

With us you will enjoy working in a supportive, multidisciplinary team actively involved in and challenged by the wide variety of clinical presentations our acute Age Care service faces, while benefiting from the learning opportunities that rehabilitation nursing offers.

You must have the ability to initiate and accept clinical responsibility and work autonomously when appropriate or necessary.  Amongst your strengths will be the ability to function well in a multi-disciplinary team while having the confidence to be a strong advocate for either stable or acutely unwell patients under your care.

You will be Registered with the New Zealand Nursing Council and have solid acute nursing experience, preferably in the specialised area of age care medicine.
