Are you looking for a role that will give you opportunities to lead, develop and deliver high quality Specialised Spinal Rehabilitation services for people in the Counties Manukau District in collaboration with highly skilled experienced and passionate team members? If so this role is for you!
Adult Rehabilitation and Health of Older People (ARHOP) division provides a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation and community based services. Specialised Spinal Rehabilitation services across Counties Manukau Health are undergoing a period of significant change with the proposed development of new and improved specialised rehabilitation services and facilities. The Service Manager role will be one of the pivotal roles to lead and support this exciting change.
The Service Manager – Spinal Rehabilitation is responsible for the leadership and management of the whole of system services provided through the Auckland Spinal Rehabilitation Unit (ASRU) for the upper North Island, services for Counties Manukau District and the Psychologists in our division.
We are looking for someone with a clinical qualification and at least 3 years’ experience in a management role ideally within the health sector and with a high level of experience in facilitating change and quality improvement. To be successful in this role you will have excellent strategic planning, leadership, communication, change management and project management skills and an ability to seek new solutions to make positive changes while working within an established budgetary and financial framework.
The role is responsible for the facilitation and provision of the highest quality of care for patients and their families through effective leadership and service delivery. The position reports to the General Manager and works closely with other organisational Managers and in close partnership with the Clinical Directors, Clinical Heads and Professional Leaders to achieve optimal service outcomes.
