We have a fabulous role for an experienced Unit Coordinator, who loves working in aged care.
Our client:
Based in South Auckland, this organisation provides the full range of care, including hospital, rest home, dementia, palliative care and respite services: never a dull moment! Strong team culture, where hard work and comradery combine
You will:
You will be able to motivate and mentor your team, you are a natural when it comes to taking the lead. Not because you tell people how to, but rather because you lead by example!

Your role:
- Provide strong clinical leadership
- Monitor staffing levels
- Assist with staff appraisals for caregivers
- Coordinate the development & review of care plans
- Manage resources including supplies and medical equipment
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement
- Support the Clinical Manager
- Understand aged care, dementia and the relevant codes of practice
- Hold NZ Nursing Registration, APC and have several years' experience in aged care
