The Role: What This Opportunity's All About

The East Community Mental Health team takes our caring role seriously. As a professional and highly motivated nurse, who displays a positive attitude and enthusiasm for this area of work, you will enjoy being part of a committed and diverse MDT team, you will work in collaboration with a group of professionals that recognises the importance of providing quality care and services to their patients, friends and whanau.

A motivated self-starter, you must enjoy the challenges of case management, including assessment, treatment and building relationships with consumers and their families/whanau. The ability to work in an integrated manner with our inpatient team and to develop sound working relationships with community resources and services is necessary.

  • Current Registration with the NZNC and APC, that includes a scope of practice for Mental Health
  • This role is 1FTE, working Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm
