Enliven Services provides aged residential services to older people in the lower half of the North Island. We are looking for six experienced part time Health Care Assistants to work various rostered shifts over a two week rotating roster, these will be discussed in more detail at an interview:
The guaranteed hours are as follows:
Position 1: 3.30pm – 10pm Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday/ Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Position 2: 6 pm – 10pm Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday/ Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Position 3: midnight – 8.30am Monday, Tuesday, Thursday/ Friday, Saturday
Position 4: midnight – 8.30am Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday/ Monday, Tuesday, Sunday
The following positions are for HCAs with experience in dementia level care. Preference will be given to applicants who are medication competent
Position 5: 3.30pm – Midnight: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday/ Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Position 6: 3.30pm – Midnight Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday / Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Position 7: Midnight – 8.30am Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday / Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Position 8: Midnight – 8.30am Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday/ Wednesday, Thursday Friday
For all positions there will be the opportunity to pick up extra shifts.
These roles provide the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills to support postive ageing.
To be successful you will:
- Ideally have qualifications in the support of older people
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Be available for a minimum of 35 hours per fortnight which will include weekend hours
