Who are we?
Healthcare NZ Community Health is the leading provider of community based Home support, rehabilitation, nursing and mental health services across New Zealand. We've over 30 years of experience providing high quality and responsive support services to people in their own homes.
What is the role?
We require highly motivated individuals who are passionate about ensuring a high quality of support to others and can identify with the individual needs of a woman living in her home who needs assistance with daily living.
You will be supporting her with everyday tasks, from household chores & personal cares to pursuing her chosen hobbies and interests and accessing her local community.
It is important that you will be able to understand what is important to her from a practical and cultural point of view and relate well with her personal goals and aspirations so you can assist in achieving them.
What skills do I need?
- Experience supporting a person with their individual needs
- Experience in the health sector, spinal cord injury experience is preferable
- A warm, fun and friendly personality, a reasonable level of physical fitness, and the desire to help others are the main requirements
- Great communication skills
- You will need a full New Zealand Driver's Licence
