We are seeking applications from a social worker interested in joining our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team providing assessment and treatment to clients with neurological conditions. Currently we have few referrals for social work, however the position could grow depending on interest and availability to expand the position.
Work with clients would be paid on a contract basis. Hours and days worked are flexible. Clients can be seen in our clinic based in the Wairau Valley, North Shore or in their homes. Over and above the contracted work, the successful applicant would be paid an annual retainer to join the team.
The applicant should have experience and/or interest in working with individuals with neurological conditions, particularly traumatic brain injury. A current annual practicing certificate and drivers licence are essential. Computer literacy is important.
