The Role: What This Opportunity's All About
Christchurch Hospital is a tertiary hospital. We undertake a full range of cardiac diagnostic tests and interventional cardiac procedures. Our hospital is the South Island centre for Electrophysiology and ICD implantation.
You will work as part of a Multi-disciplinary team based in the Cardiology Day Unit at Christchurch Hospital. Tasks involved include working in the Catheter Laboratory, and in our Pacemaker Clinic, and performing Holter Analysis.
We have two full-time permanent positions with the requirement to be on the on call roster.
You will be a Senior Cardiac Physiologist with expertise in cardiac device follow-up.
Prerequisites are:
- BSc Physiology
- Certificate in Physiological Measurement
- Post Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Technology (or equivalent)
- Experience specialising in pacemaker and ICD follow-up
