Brooklands Rest Home & Memory Care is an innovative facility offering rest home and dementia level care.  Our philosophy is to promote individualisation for our residents.  We are a small home with a big heart. 

A major focus of our recent refurbishment has been creating a homely therapeutic environment that promotes independence for residents and helps to ensure they feel valued.

We are looking for an experienced quality coordinator who will play a key role in our team - enhancing and delivering on our care and quality programmes.  You will be an effective communicator with a natural ability to build strong working relationships, continuously on the lookout for improvement opportunities and have the desire, skills, and ability to execute change. You will also be responsible for implementing and managing the quality system to ensure certification is maintained.

This role is for 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:

  • Help achieve and maintain the Quality System
  • Review and update Policies and Procedures
  • Leadership and initiative in identifying opportunities for quality activities and improvement is demonstrated
  • Ensure effective quality control management to meet the Health & Disability Standards and Health & Safety legislation in the facility
  • Plan all facility meetings, ensure all meetings are reported back to the Quality Meeting
  • Plan and implement the annual audit programme and report on findings and corrective actions

To be successful in this role you'll have broad knowledge of the aged care industry and experience in quality systems.
