Amtech Medical and Newtech Bathroomware Group

Our Group wants to develop a long-term role for a Procurement Team Leader who will work with the senior management and leadership team of both business units to ensure our strategic company goals are realised.

The two companies are amtech.co.nz and newtech.co.nz

As of today, with the considerable growth of both companies, we are seeking a higher level of expertise to help both companies.

As both companies have the same ownership structure, we have worked hard to create areas inside the company where we have Shared Services. The Shared Services philosophy allows our company to enjoy multiple resources across both divisions.

This new role, will create the new position of Procurement Team Leader, to work alongside the 3 existing staff in this area.

Don’t assume that our existing team don’t have it! Our team now, are highly charged and capable people, but we need to grow the team even more.

Overall the Job will include:

Ability to take the Team Leader Role in Procurement for both entities for Inventory.

Phase 1 2018 Focus is to understand, focus on and work on Newtech Procurement.

Phase 2 2019 Focus is to understand, support and improve systems for Amtech Procurement.

You will need to work collegially with the team to improve the effectiveness of the Procurement Team.

With your skills, can you find areas to increase the training and talent of the team.

Understand, analyse and negotiate favourable terms with our Top Supplier Relationships. 

Analyse and understand our most important items to our least important items.

Are you familiar with Procurement Team Talk? Do you know about Gross Margins, Stock Turn Days, Selling Margins? Do you relate to discussions about Market Forces on Pricing, and are you comfortable meeting with National Sales Managers and talking on a professional level about such things?

If you have expertise in this area, we would love to hear from you.

The job is located in Wanganui.
