Are you a caring and professional RN who is well organised and have experience in working in Aged Care facilities?

Golden Healthcare Group has 7 facilities in and around Christchurch.  Our facilities include 2 Rest Homes and Villages, 5 Dementia Facilities, 1 Mental Health Facility and our newest development, Lady Wigram Villas and Apartments.

This role is initially a fixed term position to provide cover for a maternity leave for 7 months. The hours will be 35 hrs per week, Tuesday to Saturday, with 4 afternoon shifts, and an 8 hour shift on Saturday.   You will be also rostered as an on-call RN generally 1 week in 6.    The facility you will work in will be Rest Home and Dementia.  On-going casual work is available for our 7 facilities around Christchurch to cover for annual and study leave.  The successful applicant will be responsible for admission of residents and on-going quality care outcomes for all residents in our facilities.  You will oversee the carer practices and monitor the service delivery ensuring we meet the highest standards.  You will be responsible for ensuring Health and Disability Service standards and the Golden Healthcare Group policies and procedures are adhered to, following best practice guidelines.

You will be supported by the Facility Managers, two Senior RN's and the Clinical Manager.   You will need to have reliable transport, as our Facilities are based around the Eastern and Southern suburbs of Christchurch.   It would be preferable if you were InterRAI trained, and familiar with electronic dispensing.  You will also need to be a NZ Citizen, or have a long term work visa.
