Night nurses needed. Enliven Wellington
Nurses. Have you had enough of rostered and rotating shifts. Would you like to be able to settle your body clock and eliminate of shift fatigue?
Enliven is committed to ensuing staff have set shifts that they can plan their lives around. We offer a comprehensive orientation, ongoing training programme and a PDRP programme to our registered nurses. We offer guaranteed hours but have additional shifts always available across our Enliven Homes so you can pick and choose how many shifts you work from week to week if that suits.
Our staff have safe staff parking close to the front door and are provided with a substantial meal when working on night duty. A night shift and weekend allowance is payable.
We have two 0.7FTE positions available at Longview Home in Tawa .
Position 1 - Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday, Week 2 Monday, Tuesday and Sunday, midnight to 0800.
Position 2 – Week 1 Thursday to Saturday, Week 2 Wednesday to Saturday, midnight to 0800.
The ideal candidate will have:
- NZ Nursing Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
- 2 or more years experience as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand
- Sound clinical assessment and decision making skills
- Clear and succinct documentation skills
- Computer literacy
- Confidence in direction and delegation
- Enthusiasm for mentoring staff
- InterRAI trained is preferred.
