Based in Waipawa in the beautiful Central Hawke’s Bay they are seeking a Client Manager who is excited by working closely with clients, solving business problems and delivering a range of business compliance and advisory solutions.
The ideal candidate must have:
- A positive outlook and be open to new ideas and methodologies
- Strong communication skills with prior experience engaging directly and providing manageable solutions to clients
- Excellent problem-solving skills, having the ability to partner with clients finding optimal outcomes
- A proactive approach to their work and demonstrate a strong understanding of business and accounts
- Be excited by technology (cloud-based systems) and champion the value this can create for clients
- Proven ability to work as part of a close-knit progressive team
- Hands on experience with Xero and add on programs
The core focus of the role will involve:
- Supporting and working with clients on a range of business and farming issues including compliance reporting, value-added work such as cashflow analysis, management accounting and ad-hoc project work
- Supporting clients with their accounting processes and programs
- Working with clients to implement new systems and practices
- Providing full training and support to clients when the above work is undertaken
