They are a multi-functional, multi-funded organisation and offer a comprehensive suite of services including Drug & Alcohol services, youth and family programs and community and aged care services.

 

The position: 

  • Based on the coast in North-West Western Australia
  • Full time, permanent Monday to Friday role
  • Work in a 20 bed rehabilitation centre built in 2014, offering numerous organised activities.
  • Ensure all medical and health issues of clients are addressed appropriately within the context of a holistic, all care rehabilitation program
  • Be a part of a therapeutic based setting, working in conjunction with community based services to manage dual diagnosis clients
  • Review clients on intake at the rehabilitation centre and assist with the creation of care plans, to recover their health and deal with their addictions
  • Monitoring of medical conditions and care plans and updating as required
  • Provide, information, education and support to families of those affected by drugs and alcohol addiction

 

To be successful you must possess: 

  • Hold, or be eligble for, registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Registered Nurse
  • Must have experience working in a drug and alcohol treatment setting
  • Experience working in the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander health sector is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to write reports and maintain client records
  • Must have full working rights in Australia
