You are CA qualified and have at least 5-6 years current BAS experience in a client facing role.

You have well developed compliance accounting and tax skills and are keen to expand your technical scope and gain exposure to new areas.

You are a strong communicator and enjoy working directly with clients and act not only as their competent accountant but a trusted business advisor.

You are likely to be working in a sizeable mid-tier or Big 4 firm in the city and would benefit from a change of scenery.

Working closely alongside a supportive partners and managers, you will be exposed to a broad range of client assignments of high complexity.

Some of your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of periodic accounts
• Tax compliance
• Monthly reporting
• Managing a portfolio of key clients
• Budgeting & forecasting
• Assisting partners with special projects
• Various ad hoc operational and strategic client engagements

You will be working directly with a broad spectrum of clients with typical average annual turnover of $5 million to $50 million, with some of the largest clients turning over in excess of $100 million. 

This opportunity offers a degree of technical complexity that cannot be found in smaller firms, yet at the same time the culture and work environment will appeal to candidates looking for that 'close-knit team' feel.

The successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal and client facing skills and ability to work well as part of a team.

Our client is looking for a confident communicator with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Previous supervisory experience would be advantageous.
