The Role: What This Opportunity's All About
This Timaru based position is to support the South Canterbury Community with health promotion initiatives with a focus on alcohol. This will include working with licensed premises and monitoring and reporting on their compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 on behalf of the Medical Officer of Health.
The successful candidate will work as a member of our Timaru team aiming to create environments that support healthy choices and promote host responsibility around alcohol in the South Canterbury community. We are seeking someone that is passionate about health and its role in the community, can work cooperatively and constructively in a team environment and has excellent communication and relationship building skills.
