A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HEARING AID TECH
•Ensuring that both behind-the-ear (BTE) and in-the-ear instruments (ITE) are repaired to GN Resounds required standards and within timeframes set
•Scanning physical ear impressions to turn them into electronic files for manipulation
•Assembling ITE hearing instruments in the New Zealand Lab working from impressions sent to GN ReSound by individual clinics;
•Producing moulds from impressions according to order requirements from start to finish
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Essential
•1-2 years of relevant electronics experience
•A passion for helping people and a great attitude.
•Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
•Can work within deadlines.
•Flexible and dynamic
Desirable
•Experience the hearing aid industry as a technician.
