The Role: What This Opportunity's All About
Applications are invited from NZ Registered physiotherapists for this position on our older persons health inpatient wards on the Burwood Campus. Our wards encompass general rehabilitation for older persons with a variety of physical and medical problems requiring in patient care.
We are seeking a clinician with excellent time management keen to use physiotherapy skills to maximum effect with a varied clinical mix. Use your communication skills and keen sense of humour to motivate your patients whether they are getting back to their previous level of mobility or dealing with the new challenges of unexpected illness. You'll work closely with your colleagues, patients and their family/whanau in this multi-disciplinary team environment and additionally being part of a larger physiotherapy team at Burwood. In addition you will be working in a spacious, purpose built patient focused facility which encourages a model of collaborative working.
This is a fixed-term position covering parental leave until May 2019.
