Immediate start for a Support Worker with preferably a background in Mental Health and/or Alcohol & other Drug Addictions.
This is a part time temporary role providing support for 30+ residents and occasional reception.
Hours of Work: 7.45am - 4.15pm / Tues, Wed, Thur
There is occasional driving required
TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL IDEALLY HAVE:
- Mental Health qualification Level 4 or similar
- Good grasp of English and excellent communication skills
- High level of emotional intelligence and common sense
- Ability to self-motivate and work well with your team
- Experience working with complex clients/patients in a health setting
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-cultural environment
- Knowledge and awareness of the Treaty of Waitangi in the workplace
- Good phone manner and ability to cover basic tasks on reception from time to time
ESSENTIAL:
- Current Workplace First Aid
- Current Full Driver's Licence
- NZ Residency or valid NZ Work Visa
