About the role
The Eastern Bay Primary Health Alliance (EBPHA) is committed to improving the development and delivery of effective School Based Health Services, to ensure the youth in the Eastern Bay of Plenty have access to primary health care services.
The EBPHA has a vacancy for an experienced Registered Nurse. The position is for 24-30 hours per week (school terms only) and will be based at the Whakatāne High School.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate and have at least two years post graduate clinical experience;
- Understand the Treaty of Waitangi;
- Experience working with families/whānau and a diverse range of children and young people; and
- Experience working as a School Based Health Nurse would be preferred however not essential as training will be given.
