We are seeking an exceptional staff member to supporting clients with their daily living while respecting their dignity, values, and culture.
What does a Support Worker do?
Support and encourage individuals to maintain independence in their own home which may include:
- Providing day to day care, support and supervision with all aspects of daily life
- Personal cares and household duties
What skills does a Support Worker require?
Most of all you need a warm and friendly personality and ability to build solid relationships with people. You will also need:
- Experience in moving and handling patients (hoist)
- Caring, dedicated, and reliable with a professional outlook
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in health or disability sector
- Hold a full NZ Driver's Licence and have access to a reliable car
