ABOUT YOU

To be able to provide high quality specialist advice, expertise and leadership on Maori Heritage matters, you must have solid experience in planning/resource management/heritage along with an understanding of tikanga Maori and experience in working within kaupapa Maori frameworks.

Working experience with iwi in the fields of Maori heritage and/or Maori planning, archaeology, or experience in the Treaty settlement space would be a good match for this position.

Along with this, you will have an outstanding track record of delivering collaborative results with strong report writing skills and be comfortable in engaging with internal and external stakeholders as this role will see the team engaging and partnering with iwi in the region, land owners, Local Boards and Council.
