The Auckland Bioengineering Institute (ABI) is a cross-faculty research centre. Our research deals with the application of mathematical and engineering sciences to biology and human physiology. We aim to improve understanding of physiological processes and the diagnosis and treatment of injury or disease.
We have an opportunity for an Executive Assistant to provide administrative, secretarial, and project support to the Deputy Director, and manage day to day operations and activities as required.
In this role, you will be liaising with a wide range of internal and external visitors on behalf of the Deputy Director, which may also include organising accommodation and itineraries for visitors to the institute. You will also provide administrative support for staff and postgraduate student processes, as well as providing strategic planning administration support.
Our ideal candidate has the following:
- Previous experience in a senior administrative position
- A superior level of oral and written English language communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
