What You Will Do
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and enthusiastic Health, Wellness and Sport Team Leader to support the delivery of high quality, holistic and relevant Health, Wellness and Sports programmes which align with UC's student success and wellbeing experiences and philosophy.
Who You Are
As the successful candidate you will have:
- a Bachelor's Degree in Health Promotion, Health Sciences, Physical Education or Recreation
- extensive industry experience, leading and implementing recreation programmes both facility based and externally
- excellent communication, group presentation and interpersonal skills
- effective motivational, negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- experience in budget management
- a passion for delivering innovative and holistic health, wellness and sport programmes
Who You Will Work With
You will work with a dynamic team who are passionate about making a difference for student and staff wellbeing. The team delivers positive and holistic health, fitness, sport and wellbeing programmes to the student community, where UC believes that sport and recreational experiences for students forms an integral component of the UC experience.
UC is in the process of developing a vision for the rebuild of a new Sport and Recreation Centre, which will present exciting opportunities for this position and its service offerings.
