Utilise your exceptional customer focus, attention to detail and organising skills to play a role in protecting the health of New Zealanders. We're looking for a Certification Coordinator to join the HealthCERT team!

 

As our Certification Coordinator you will play a vital role within the HealthCERT team, and will be responsible for the administration of the certification process for organisations involved in providing care in the health sector, as well as assisting with other related activities.

 

This role will suit someone who has a background in administering legislation, working with a diverse group of customers, and working with an electronic workflow system.  A preferred candidate will thrive in a busy work environment and enjoy working both independently, and as part a larger team.

 

HealthCERT certifies providers of aged residential care (rest homes), hospital care, residential disability services and fertility services. It is part of the Provider Regulation Group.  The Provider Regulation Group administers specific legislation and regulations on behalf of the Crown relating to the provision of residential care and the distribution of medicines.

 

Our job is to ensure that the public can have confidence that these services are safe.

 

We are looking for someone who has:

 

  • familiarity with administrative processes around administering regulation
  • a systematic approach to work
  • a high level of consistency, accuracy and attention to detail
  • the ability to work independently and take responsibility for parts of the process, but also as a collaborative and supportive team member
  • a good level of computer literacy and the ability to learn to use new applications quickly. The team uses an electronic workflow system
  • the ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
