The Ministry for Primary Industries is looking for a Team Leader to be part of the National Intelligence Team based in Wellington.
As the Team Leader National Intelligence you will lead a team in the delivery of timely intelligence products to identify risk or develop insights into risks or opportunities for primary industries. You'll need to be comfortable in an ambiguous environment.
The role will have a national and strategic focus on biosecurity, fisheries and animal welfare with an expectation of working with the wider team across the breadth of MPI, including support to the trade system and the business units New Zealand Food Safety and Te Uru Rakau. When required the Team Leader National Intelligence will be involved in supporting major food, trade and biosecurity Responses.
A necessary part of your role will be to develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and raising the profile of intelligence in MPI and across government.

Security Clearance
Security clearance to the level of TOP SECRET SPECIAL is required for this position. The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain this clearance. More information about security clearances can be found at here

Salary for this role is $82,687 - $107,007 depending on skills and experience.
