The University of Auckland is seeking a Group Services Administrator to provide teaching and administrative support for the Clinical Skills Centre in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences.

About us

The Clinical Skills Centre is a small, friendly, supportive team of both academic clinicians and professional staff, responsible for providing a physical and educational resource in clinical skills learning for health professional programmes in the faculty.

The opportunity

You'll work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including students and clinical academics, in a dynamic and complex environment. Your duties will include assisting with the production of teaching materials; data management of reports, transcripts and class lists; and providing general administrative support for meetings research support workshops, seminars and panels.

Who are we looking for?:

This position will suit a well organised person, with previous experience in an administrative role.

  • Our ideal candidate will have three to five years' administration experience, ideally gained in a tertiary environment
  • You'll also have a proactive attitude, immaculate attention to detail, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage a busy workload
  • Your interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills will be exceptional, as you will be working collaboratively as part of a high-performing team with an outstanding customer focus for the faculty's key stakeholders
  • You'll need to be fully proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

This is a part-time position (18.75 hours per week), available on a fixed-term basis until December 2019. A degree of flexibility regarding work-time will be required. Based at Grafton Campus.
