The Client Technologies function is part of the ICT Unit within the Corporate Services Division. The team has multiple disciplines within the structure offering guidance, evaluation, procurement, support and ongoing management of ICT resources. Ara has some 350 such enabled spaces with audio visual fit outs using the latest equipment and software to deliver high quality learning and corporate experience across Ara's various locations.

The role

The Client Services Analyst is a customer facing role that requires excellent customer service skills and an enthusiasm to help people fully utilise ICT service offerings into their normal work and study practices.

Duties:

  • Supporting both mobile and static hardware fleet ensuring maximum uptime for learning delivery
  • Champion change for the betterment of the Institute and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Fully utilise and drive the features available across the Microsoft product suite particularly Office 365 and One Note

Skills/Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or similar field
  • Ability to demonstrate a sound degree of general ICT knowledge and can convey instruction and concepts verbally, in writing and face to face
  • Practical competency with AV Technical/Electronic equipment and/or Microsoft applications
  • Two or more years in a customer service role
  • Can demonstrate their ability to manage an escalation through to a successful outcome with patience and professionalism
  • Ability to coordinate tasks and people at an operational and project level
