Credit Manager

About the Role:
As Credit Manager you will be responsible for the effective management of Credit and Accounts Receivable functions for New Zealand.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Developing effective relationships throughout the business and with customers.
• Leading and developing a team of Credit Controllers and Accounts Receivable (9 in total)
• Assessment of customer risk, credit analysis and overseeing reconciliations.
• Managing your own ledger of Accounts across a range of customer profiles and sizes.
• Preparation of reports for management on debtor status.
• Implementing policies and procedures that are consistent with Credit Policy.
• Proactively suggesting and supporting improvements and efficiency in the business in alignment with strategic objectives.

  Experience Required:

• 5 - 10 years commercial experience as a Credit Manager.
• Strong leadership qualities, including change management experience.
• Experienced in Credit Control with understanding of full Accounts Receivable function.
• Communication skills with the ability to tactfully influence outcomes.
• Strategic thinking with ability to align priorities with overall business strategy.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience of large ERP system
