Our Government Engagement & Support unit is responsible for ensuring ACC delivers high quality advice and effective support services to the Minister and Associate Minister for ACC. They are ACC’s centre of excellence in managing Official Information Requests, Select Committee processes and Parliamentary Questions and supports ACC’s involvement in cross-government initiatives.

The Head of Government Engagement & Support is a key leadership role reporting to the Chief Governance Officer. To be successful in this role you will be a smart, visible and focused leader able to form trusted relationships across the business and externally.  You will have sound public sector experience or exposure, a high level of political awareness and extensive experience leading teams and delivering through others.

You will have the intellectual agility to lead across the areas of your responsibility, be comfortable operating and advising at a senior level with the Board, Executive, Ministers and other key government agencies, and have the ability to inspire and challenge your teams to deliver to their full potential.

Ideally you will have a working background in either Official Information Act Requests or providing Ministerial Services, and will have experience in providing advice and reporting on complex issues to Executive teams, Boards or Ministers.
