The opportunity
Reporting to the Manager Commercial Place Operations (CPO), the key purpose of this role is to assist the manager to deliver the various Commercial Place Operations project work streams on time, on budget and to the highest standards applying sound Place Principles. This role has a unique blend of community, commercial and events delivery objectives supported by best practice placemaking principles. This is an important and highly visible external facing role which carries Panuku Development Auckland’s brand to a wide range of partners and stakeholders and must work well with Auckland’s business and place making networks
About you
This role requires a passionate people's person, who can think outside the box to provide creative ideas and solutions. You will have excellent interpersonal skills as well as a high level of confidence to develop and maintain networks and relationships with a variety of stakeholders. The ability to multitask and juggle competing priorities will be the key to your success in this role.
You will be tasked with creating and putting place making and events plans into action. As communicating and working closely with the cross directorate and commercial property teams is core to your role, previous similar experience would be encouraged. You would have excellent communication and administration skills as well as the ability to research, prepare and deliver correspondence, reports and presentations. A keen appetite to develop and maintain valuable community and business association relationships which would be balanced with project management/coordination experience.
