We are seeking expressions of interest for a newly created role that is envisaged will have an immensely positive impact on the wider Hawke’s Bay Region.

Either way it is highly likely you will have held senior contributing roles in substantive commercial or public organisations and be ready to champion this regional initiative.
Hawke’s Bay Local Authority Shared Services (HBLASS) aims to provide a shared and collaborative platform for the five councils we have across the wider Hawke’s Bay region. By enabling the councils to work together, HBLASS will aim to reduce costs, achieve effectiveness and efficiency gains, reduce duplication of effort and eliminate waste through repetition. This is all about promoting and contributing to the development of best practice and improving ratepayers and customers’ experiences right throughout Hawke’s Bay.
Success in this role will see you leading the collaboration business model; delivering, developing and leading this shared service across a wide range of functions for the five councils. You’ll be working with the five CEO’s and other key stakeholders to identify, champion and facilitate collaboration opportunities. And you will play the key role of working with Managers across the Council’s to determine priorities and develop integrated solutions that will ultimately lead to better outcomes across the board for all five councils.
There will be a real mix of strategic input, project management, relationship management and stakeholder reporting. And you will be the one ensuring effective meeting administration, meeting coordination, minute taking and reporting.
