The role
The purpose of this role is to implement, enhance and promote the Transport Agency's business planning practice to ensure our strategy is delivered. This role is largely focused on building strong relationships with senior leaders and facilitating the identification of planning and performance information. It also involves analysing the information to inform senior leader business planning decisions.
We are looking for someone who can provide thought leadership to complement the existing technical business planning knowledge within the team. You will have advanced communication skills and use those to influence and network in a fast paced and complex environment.
What you will bring
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience in providing thought leadership in bringing strategy to life
- Sound knowledge of business planning
- Experience in influencing and having challenging conversations with senior leaders.
- Experience in supporting others in a fast-paced, complex and often ambiguous environment
- Highly effective written and oral presentation and communications and advocacy skills
- Highly developed influencing, networking and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective and trusted relationships
