Are you passionate about island conservation? Ever dreamed of working in New Zealand's wild Subantarctic region?

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the initial stages of a project at the forefront of international island conservation. The role is with a DOC project team investigating feasibility and undertaking initial planning for a project to eradicate remaining mammalian pests (pigs, cats and mice) from Auckland Island (465 km south of Bluff) in New Zealand's World Heritage listed subantarctic region.

The Department of Conservation is seeking a talented and experienced Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager. The role will contribute significantly to the success of the project by maintaining project management systems including ongoing scheduling, risk, issues, change, dependency, quality, communications and contract controls management and status reporting.

The ambitious project is nationally significant and will have tangible benefits for unique wildlife on a large-scale. Success will be dependent on quality planning and delivery through teamwork.
