Working within the Resource Consents team, you will be responsible for implementing the Dunedin City Council Development Contributions Policy. This primarily involves assessing resource consent and building consent applications to determine if a development contribution is required, providing estimates and supporting the process for deferrals, waivers and objections.
You will be self-motivated and enjoy working in a systematic and detailed way. Experience reading and understanding building consent and resource consent plans, and experience in interpreting a Development Contributions Policy, is desirable.
Preference will be given to those applicants who have a relevant tertiary qualification and at least three years’ experience in a relevant area; preferably within land and/or development contribution work.
