The role

Our vision is 'Building lives and communities by housing New Zealanders'. To help achieve this, we require experienced Project Coordinators to join our Wellington CBD based team. In this role you will have strong administration and coordination skills to support the project managers with documentation, plans and reporting on key projects for Housing New Zealand. You will provide efficient and effective administrative services and contribute to the performance of the team and any service improvements.

What you'll need to bring:

  • Organisational skills, especially the ability to multi-task and prioritise, often with tight time-frames
  • Experience providing administrative support in a large programme/ project environment with a number of team members
  • Proven ability to produce written reports and presentation material
  • Ability to work across the business and effectively communicate with a variety of staff
  • Proven skills in Word, Excel, Visio and MS Project and computer literate in Microsoft Windows environment
  • A proactive, enthusiastic and energetic approach and an ability to work with a minimum of supervision on a day to day basis
  • Initiative and sound judgement
