The Opportunity
Due to a number of large project wins, we are growing our Building Structures team. You will be working on some of the most challenging and exciting projects in the Auckland region with leading technical experts.
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be involved in all elements of the project lifecycle - from preparing proposals and presenting to clients, through to managing resources and budgets to ensure timely project delivery. Using your well-developed written and verbal communication skills, you will build strong relationships with clients, resulting in winning work and gaining repeat business. You will collaborate with teams across our business lines and technical disciplines and provide support to our junior engineers.

About You
You will possess the following:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in building structures, ideally in a consultancy
- Excellent knowledge and competency in structural building specification and design
- Demonstrated skills in managing projects (or components of) and budgets to meet time and resource requirements
- Capable of working independently, collaboratively as part of a team, and leading a structural team
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication
- Solid experience with NZ codes, including seismic design and assessment.
