We have seen growth in the manufacturing sector and with an increasing flow of activity and top projects on the books this is a rare opportunity for a talented Sales Engineer to join the Business Development team.

The Role:

As Sales Engineer, you will be supporting the Business Development team with global engineering sales, and coordinating equipment concepts, proposals and requirements.

With PML’s growing portfolio, you will be engaging with existing customers as well as developing novel sales leads in existing and new territories. The main challenge of this role is converting customers’ requirements and design into manufacturing concepts and commercial contract. As PML continues to diversify its products and operations, you will be required to have contact with an increasing variety of markets and industries.  

With the requirement of occasional international travel, this role will allow you to continue to develop your knowledge through exposure to different of the production industries.   

The Person:

With the combination of a project-based engineering background and proven sales experience, you have the ability to cultivate meaningful and profitable relationships with customers, and your colleagues. Your exposure to concept engineering, commercial understanding and complete sales cycle will allow you to prepare presentations and complex quotations.

Fluency in Mandarin (reading and writing) in addition to an understanding of Chinese culture will be highly advantageous.

Your success in this role will hinge on your ability to marry your technical engineering knowledge with your sales finesse.
