Our client based in Manukau NZ, and build, maintain and service Auckland's new electric trains. These trains are designed just for Auckland and consist of state of the art technology.
As a Maintenance Technician each day will be different. Your main role will be to carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on all of the trains' systems (mechanical, electrical and electronic). Our client will provide you with all of the tools and training needed to perform the wide variety of tasks needed to keep Auckland's trains running smoothly.
Your experience in preventative maintenance work, changing air filters, fault finding etc. will be essential for this position. If you have a mechanical and / or electrical duel certificates this would be advantageous along with good understanding and ability read electrical drawings as this is a must for this role!
As our client operates 24/7 you will need to be flexible to work various shifts but in return you will be rewarded with additional remuneration for nights, weekends and any over-time worked which will be compensated on top of your base salary.
