• 4 year Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree is mandatory
• Significant earthworks experience - ideally road construction
• Industry experience within a civil contractor + experience leading & mentoring

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join the CPB HEB Joint Venture Transmission Gully Project. This role will support our bulk earthworks, drainage and miscellaneous civil construction scope.

Responsibilities include (although not limited to)

• Ensure an efficient, effective Engineering service is provided to specific work areas, including bulk earthworks
• Measuring, recording and reporting on progress against program in allocated work packages
• Ensuring works are compliant with the relevant SH&E conditions and proactively managing risk
• Advising Senior Project Engineer of discrepancies and identifying variations in own work package
• Quality Assurance monitoring, raising and closing lots, materials orders, subcontractor management

The ideal candidate will have;

• A Bachelor of Civil Engineering
• Significant earthworks experience (ideally road construction)
• A commitment to safety and health above all else
• Industry experience within a civil contractor
• Experience leading and mentoring a team of junior engineers
• Strong planning and cost management skills
