About the business

Spec Automation Ltd are currently looking for a Fitter / mechanical engineer to join our team of highly skilled contractors, for a full time + extra weekend hours 3 month contract starting in July.  We offer a diverse range of products and services from upgrades & installations to Electrical maintenance & breakdown cover.  Spec Automation work with a large number of Multi-National companies across the Manufacturing & FMCG Sector. 

About the role

In this role you will be responsible for mechanical assemblies of robotic analysis machines.

Benefits and perks

  • $40 - $50 p/h dependent on experience
  • Contracting Position
  • Mon - Fri 7am-3pm (early start / late finish flexible)
  • Overtime / weekend work available
  • 3 Month Contract

Skills and experience

  • Trade Qualified in mechanical engineering / fitting turning or equivilant
  • Understanding sub-assembly drawings
  • 3-5 years experience in mechanical engineering
  • Experience on automated machinery
  • Fitting & turning experience
  • Must be able to work independently & be proactive
  • A logical approach to working
  • Must have excellent communication skills
