About the business
Spec Automation Ltd are currently looking for a Fitter / mechanical engineer to join our team of highly skilled contractors, for a full time + extra weekend hours 3 month contract starting in July. We offer a diverse range of products and services from upgrades & installations to Electrical maintenance & breakdown cover. Spec Automation work with a large number of Multi-National companies across the Manufacturing & FMCG Sector.
About the role
In this role you will be responsible for mechanical assemblies of robotic analysis machines.

- Mon - Fri 7am-3pm (early start / late finish flexible)
- Overtime / weekend work available
- 3 Month Contract
Skills and experience
- Trade Qualified in mechanical engineering / fitting turning or equivilant
- Understanding sub-assembly drawings
- 3-5 years experience in mechanical engineering
- Experience on automated machinery
- Fitting & turning experience
- Must be able to work independently & be proactive
- A logical approach to working
- Must have excellent communication skills
